The Perth Wildcats will introduce new Perth singing sensation Ritchell Lim this Friday night, who will be performing at their game at Perth Arena.
Ritchell is a talented singer, pianist and songwriter who, at just 17, has already recorded three studio albums.
The songstress has also toured internationally in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia where she impressed her audiences with her powerful voice and unique blend of musical styles.
Perth Wildcats managing director and former writer for Rolling Stone magazine Nick Marvin, says Wildcats fans are in for a real treat this Friday.
“I heard Ritchell Lim perform recently and was so impressed that I wanted her to play at one of our home games,” Marvin said.
“Ritchell Lim is a name we are going to hear a lot more of in the coming years, especially as her voice develops and she matures as a musician and singer. I am truly excited for her and for what the future holds.”
Ritchell was born 10 weeks premature in Jakarta, Indonesia, before her family moved to Australia six months later.
By the time she was eight years old she had already composed 10 songs, and with a decade of performing experience since then, she has taken her musical to the next level.
Ritchell will perform a 25-minute set prior to the Wildcats game on Friday at 6.10pm. At half-time she will return to the floor for another two songs.
Tickets to the game are still available through Ticketek.
