Wildcats Off-Season Wrap – 10 April 2017

It was a weekend of stuffing the stat-sheet for the many Perth Wildcats familiar faces around the state leagues, with some incredible stat-lines being put up across the board.

Shawn Redhage extended his string of incredible performances in the SBL, playing all 40 minutes for the undefeated Perth Redbacks, tallying 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Lively point guard Mason Bragg returned to SBL action this weekend, scoring four points and five rebounds in his limited minutes season opener, before exploding for 23 points and four steals in his second game of the weekend.

Rhys Vague tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Stirling Senators while, in the NZNBL, Jarrod Kenny helped the Taylor Hawks snap a 24-game losing streak, setting the table with eight assists.

Corey Webster continued his hot shooting for the Wellington Saints, scoring 31 points including six three-points, while adding seven assists and four boards.

Looking to the Philippines, Jameel McKay imposed himself for the Phoenix Fuelmasters, scoring 21 points along with 16 rebounds.
