The Perth Wildcats were well represented across a variety of leagues, with several eye-catching stat-lines leading the way in this week’s off-season wrap.
Shawn Redhage continued to dominate in the SBL, with the Scoring Machine delivering in both of the Perth Redbacks’ games this weekend.
Redhage opened the weekend with 22 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, before exploding for 46 points, 10 boards and six assists in the second game of a back-to-back weekend for the Redbacks.
A pair of Wildcats and Stirling Senators teammates each fell just shy of a triple double, as Rhys Vague stuffed that stat-sheet, scoring 16 points to go with 10 rebounds and five assists, while teammate Corban Wroe tallied 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Mason Bragg recorded seven points and one rebound for the East Perth Eagles, while new Wildcats signing Lucas Walker hit the court with Mackay, dominating in a big win for the Meteors to the tune of 26 points and 17 rebounds.
Turning to the New Zealand NBL, and Jarrod Kenny made the most of two games across the weekend, tallying 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals, before backing it up with 18 points, seven boards and six dimes.
Jameel McKay squeezed in one last monster performance in the Philippines before the All-Star break, scoring an impressive 42 points along with 22 rebounds and two blocks.
