Biography
Has turned himself into quite the impressive role player, club person and journeyman in the NBL and remains one of the more reliable and dependable pieces of the Tasmania JackJumpers for coach Scott Roth.
Has now been a cornerstone of the JackJumpers since they entered the NBL for the 2021/22 season, after earlier stints in his career at the Brisbane Bullets and Perth Wildcats.
Grew up in Brisbane before winning an MVP award in the QBL (now NBL1 North) in 2012 before starting his college career.
Spent four years at the University of Central Oklahoma starting in 2013 and finished off his senior year in 2015/16 with 8.9 points, 4.5 rebounds a game while shooting at 47.1 per cent from the field and the three ball at 41.8 per cent.
After returning to play in the QBL at the South West Metro Pirates, joined the Bullets of the NBL for the 2016/17 alongside his older brother Cam and made five appearances during the season.
Was out of the NBL the next two seasons, but continued to play well in the QBL with the Pirates up until the end of 2019, before being instrumental in the Brisbane Capitals winning a championship in 2020.
Ended up back in the NBL at the Perth Wildcats in 2020/21 where he played 12.3 minutes across 38 games averaging 1.9 points and 2.7 rebounds and then was among the first players signed to the Tasmania JackJumpers for 2021/22.
After being a key player in the team reaching a Championship Series in that first season, won an NBL1 South championship with the Hobart Chargers before another solid NBL season with Tasmania, and a strong campaign at the Chargers again heading into NBL24.
