The Perth Wildcats are encouraging its fans to dig deep to help those effected by ex-tropical Cyclone Seroja, and donate to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
The rare weather event took just a couple of hours to wreak havoc on the State’s Mid West coast on Sunday night, with tourist town Kalbarri and Northampton among the hardest hit.
The Perth Wildcats will donate $200 for every three-pointer its team makes over its two games this weekend.
The cyclone damaged more than 70 per cent of homes in Kalbarri, with 10 per cent considered destroyed.
More than 30,000 residents throughout the Mid West have had limited access to power and telecommunications all week.
Click here to make a donation to the Lord Mayor's Distress Relief Fund. 100% of all donations go directly to those in need.
