Almost 1,000 Perth Wildcats members and fans turned out to meet the team at the club’s annual Fan Day event.
The special day was held at RAC Arena for the first time, representing the first opportunity to interact with the team, including its new players Todd Blanchfield, Kevin White and American John Mooney.
Shooting guard Clint Steindl said it was great to be amongst the Red Army again.
“It’s good to finally see some of the Red Army members again. We had a small meet and greet a few months back but to get some fans in this building, it’s good to see them come out today,” he said.
“These are the guys who fill this place up, we get 13,000 of them in here, so we love having them in here and hopefully we can get this place rocking again soon.”
To help keep Fan Day COVID-Safe, a number of measures were put in place to protect both the players and fans.
Gloved and ready. 🤲
