The NBA 2023 Summer League gets underway next week, the tournament taking place in Las Vegas from the 7th to the 14th.

All eyes will be on the off-season competition run by the NBA, where rookie NBA Players, sophomore NBA players, and other players come together for a chance to play on a global stage in front of recruiters from all around the world.

The Perth Wildcats will have plenty of representation in the 2023 tournament, with Keanu Pinder named to the Phoenix Suns summer league roster.

In a full circle moment for Pinder, he’ll be representing the state of Arizona again after completing his college career at the University of Arizona.

It’s a deserved honour for the big man, coming off two outstanding seasons with the Cairns Taipans, where he earnt back-to-back NBL Most Improved Player awards in 2022 and 2023.

Pinder averaged 16.9 points and 9.3 rebounds over the NBL23 season before an injury ended his campaign.

Pinder is the only centre named on the 15-man man roster announced by the Phoenix Suns overnight, which includes fellow NBL23 All-NBL Second team member Barry Brown Jr.

The action kicks off from 9.00am WST on Sunday 9 July. See the full schedule below.
