Luke Brennan appointed Warwick Senators head coach

Perth Wildcats assistant coach Luke Brennan has been appointed head coach of the Warwick Senators for the 2022 NBL1 Season.
Brennan takes the reigns from Wildcats legend Mike Ellis, who led the Senators for the last six seasons, winning the 2020 title.
“I am excited about the opportunity to continue to grow the culture and build on the legacy that Mike and the team have established over the years”.
Ellis said Warwick is in great hands.
“I loved coaching these guys and will miss them terribly. That said I believe this is in the best interest of the club as a whole, we have been speaking about the connections with development for our juniors to the NBL1 group for a number of years now and I know that Luke will be able to give that the attention it deserves," he said.
"I am extremely proud that so many of the players in the NBL1 team are Warwick juniors and that the pathways have been established. Now Luke will be able to assist in the development of the younger players so that legacy continues.”
Brennan was promoted to Perth Wildcats assistant coach at the conclusion of the 2021 NBL Season.
His appointment as the head coach of Warwick won't affect his role at the Wildcats.
