Perth Wildats vice-captain Mitch Norton will miss two to three weeks of basketball with a low grade hamstring strain, suffered in Sunday's win over the NZ Breakers.

Despite missing games through a knee injury and head-knock protocols earlier this year, Norton is having arguably the best season of his career, averaging a career-high 10.1 points and 3.7 assists per game over 14 games.

Meanwhile, big man Ollie Hayes-Brown will miss both the Wildcats games this weekend with knee soreness.

Development players Kyle Zunic and Mitch Clarke will make up the 11-man team, while Scott Morrison confirmed Kevin White is ready to return to the court after taking leave from the club this month.

The Wildcats take on Tasmania on Thursday night at RAC Arena. Preview the game.
