Perth Wildcats off-season hoops rolls into May!

Elijah Pepper led the way in New Zealand, continuing his impressive form for the Wellington Saints.

Pepper finished with 36 points, six assists, four rebounds and four steals against the Taranaki Airs, combining efficient scoring with continued growth as a playmaker and primary ball-handler.

The performance further highlighted the confidence and expanded offensive role he has embraced during the NZNBL season.

David Okwera added another productive outing for East Perth, recording 21 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Warwick.

His rebounding and athleticism continue to highlight his dominant presence in NBL1 West, with his influence around the rim consistent each week.

At Willetton, Tom Gerovich contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists in another Tigers victory, continuing to provide balance and experience within an unbeaten lineup. 

His ability to impact games across multiple areas remains an important part of Willetton’s strong start to the season.

Cameron Huefner maintained his strong recent stretch for Perry Lakes with 27 points and 10 rebounds against the Perth Redbacks.

Huefner continues his consistency offensively, pairing confident scoring with a strong presence on the boards during an impressive run of form.

In Spain, David Duke Jr. impacted the game through his defence and playmaking in BAXI Manresa’s win over Valencia Basket, finishing with four assists, two steals and a block. His versatility and defensive energy again proved valuable within the team structure.

Meanwhile, Kristian Doolittle made a strong start with new side Osos de Manatí after recently switching teams in Puerto Rico.

Doolittle recorded 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists in his first appearance with the club, quickly settling into a familiar all-round role.

An intriguing matchup against former side Gigantes de Carolina now awaits next month.
