Off-Season Weekly Wrap: Wins All Round as Wildcats Dominate NBL1

Elijah Pepper continues to show why he's the best in the NBL1 West - adding another 40 point game to his leading scorer resume with the Warwick Senators. In a dominant win over the Eastern Suns, Pepper had 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals and shows his ability to take over games on both ends. Pepper leads the league on the scoreboard with an average of 36.33 points across 12 games.
Teammate Todd Withers added 6 points, 1 board and 3 assists in the same game, helping the Senators stay in strong form through the NBL1 West season, currently sitting second on the ladder.
Tom Gerovich backed up his recent form with another strong double-header. With an impressive 18 points, including 4 from deep, 6 boards, 3 assists and a block in a win over Lakeside, before adding 9 points, 3 boards and 2 assists against Mandurah.
Lat Mayen delivered a season-best 28 points, draining 6 threes in a huge performance for the West Adelaide Bearcats. He also pulled down 9 rebounds and dished 4 assists in a win over Norwood.
Fellow Bearcat and Wildcats' Development Player Cam Huefner also impressed, contributing 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the same victory.
Sunday Dech continued his consistent form for Knox. He tallied 9 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and a block in a win over Hobart, before adding 5 points, 7 boards and 3 assists while going perfect from the line in a narrow loss to NW Tasmania. Sunday now turns his attention to representing the Wildcats in Japan, playing for the NBL Select Team along with Todd Withers. All the best fellas!
