Perth Wildcats and Pirate Life join forces in new multi-year partnership

The Perth Wildcats and Pirate Life are joining forces in an exciting new multi-year partnership across the next three seasons, with Pirate Life Brewing becoming the club’s Official Beer Partner and Pirate Life Perth named the Official Game-Day Venue of the Wildcats.

The partnership will enhance the game-day experience for the Red Army throughout NBL27 and for years to come.

Founded by Perth brewers Jack Cameron and Jared ‘Red’ Proudfoot in 2014, Pirate Life has grown from humble  beginnings into a much-loved Australian  brand.  After making their mark across the Nullarbor, Pirate Life returned to WA in 2021 with the opening of Pirate Life Perth, an epic multi-level brewery, bar and restaurant created by Pirate Life and Andy Freeman’s hospitality group, Sneakers & Jeans.

Now, with a team as passionate about the Wildcats as they are about their beer, Pirate Life Perth are going all in on the game-day experience, with exclusive member benefits, game-day activations, away-game events and the return of the Wildcats marching band.

Perth Wildcats owner Mark Arena said the partnership was designed to further elevate the full game-day experience.

Pirate Life Perth CEO Andy Freeman said the venue was excited to play a genuine role in bringing the partnership to life.

“We’ve loved working with the Wildcats on ideas that can add to the whole game-day experience, not just at Pirate Life Perth but around the energy of Wildcats basketball,” Freeman said.

"Bringing back the marching band is something we've really championed because we know how much it means to the members. The return of the marching band is just the beginning. We want to make the build-up to game day bigger than ever and help create traditions that become part of what it means to be a Wildcats supporter."

Exclusive Perth Wildcats Member Benefits at Pirate Life Perth

As part of the partnership, Wildcats members will receive access to a range of exclusive benefits at Pirate Life Perth throughout the year.

Members can access the Wildcats Burger & Pint Deal, with a burger and pint or wine available for $25, saving $10 on the regular price. The offer is available any day of the week, year-round, by showing a valid Wildcats membership card. The offer is limited to one redemption per membership card.

Pirate Life Perth will also launch its “We Win, You Win” game-day offer, giving eligible members the chance to receive a complimentary drink when the Wildcats win. Vouchers will be available in venue before and during game days, whether fans are heading in after a home game at RAC Arena or gathering to watch an away game on the big screen.

Members can also celebrate their birthday month with a complimentary charcuterie board (valued at $100), available during any visit in their birthday month with a valid Wildcats membership card.

For members planning corporate events, Pirate Life Perth will offer 15% off food and beverage for corporate functions of 20 or more guests, providing a unique venue option close to RAC Arena. Members can also access 20% off brewery tours, usually valued at $65 per person.

Corporate function and brewery tour discounts exclude the November to December peak period.

Pirate Life Perth is a licensed venue. Members must be 18 years or older to redeem alcohol-related benefits.
