An action-packed seven days saw Wildcats shining across Japan, New Zealand, and NBL1.

Dontae delivers in NZNBL derby thriller

Dontae Russo-Nance played a starring role in the most exciting clash of NZNBL Round 23.

The dynamic guard finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

Russo-Nance continued his strong season form and leadership on the floor, as his Manawatu Jets fell narrowly by three points to Auckland Tuatara.


Okwera flirts with a triple-double

David Okwera had one of his most complete outings of the season, helping the Franklin Bulls to a dominant 106-69 win over the Jets.

Okwera finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists in just 21 minutes of play, showcasing his confidence and versatility.


Mayen and Huefner go big for Bearcats

Lat Mayen delivered another impressive game for the West Adelaide Bearcats.

Mayen contributed 27 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and a block, including 4 made triples despite an 84-92 loss to North Adelaide.

Bearcats and Wildcats teammate Cam Huefner was equally electric.

Adding 26 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals while hitting 5 shots from long range, showing off his offensive versatility and confidence from deep.


Pepper shines in top-of-the-table clash

Elijah Pepper kept the Warwick Senators right in the title race.

In a solid team effort, Pepper had 23 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists in a narrow 2-point loss to ladder-leaders Rockingham Flames.

The Senators remain second on the NBL1 West ladder, with Pepper continuing a standout season.


Dech and Withers sweeps Japan tour with NBL Select

Sunday Dech and Todd Withers travelled to Japan as part of the NBL Select team and helped secure a clean sweep over B.League United in the Global Invitational series.

Playing alongside Dech, Withers contributed his trademark energy and defensive presence, as the squad claimed wins in both games over the two-game showcase.
