The Perth Wildcats are investigating comments from a fan which were heard on the television broadcast of Monday night’s semi-final game.
The club takes mental health and suicide prevention extremely seriously and the type of language used is unacceptable in any context.
We encourage the person who made the comments to come forward so the club can assist them with receiving the education required to gain a better understanding of such an important issue.
If any fans are able to provide more information on the incident, please contact the club.
The Perth Wildcats pride themselves on the family-friendly nature of its home games, and abusive or anti-social behaviour is not tolerated.
