Pink Week Begins as Wildcats Celebrate 10 Years of the Pink Game

Pink Week is here as the Perth Wildcats prepare to celebrate the 10th annual Pink Game when they host South East Melbourne Phoenix at RAC Arena on Friday 2 October at 7.30pm.

What began as one special game has become a much-loved night for Breast Cancer Care WA, helping provide specialist breast care nursing, counselling and financial assistance to people affected by breast cancer and their families.

The 10th Pink Game is a chance to celebrate everyone who has been part of the decade of support, coming together once again for a cause that touches so many Western Australians.

The Perth Wildcats are calling on the Pink Army to fill RAC Arena on Friday 2 October and get involved throughout the week with a stack of pink festivities.

The Wildcats have teamed up with Pretzel Australia to give fans another way to support the cause. For every Wildcats Pink Pretzel sold, $2 will be donated to Breast Cancer Care WA.

The Pink Pretzel is available at WA Pretzel stores from 25 September to 9 October, while stocks last (Busselton store not included).

On game day, Pirate Life Perth will serve a special Pink Burger to enjoy before and after the game.

Every dollar helps

Wildcats partners will once again turn on court action into donations. Crown Perth will once again donate for every Wildcats free throw made, while Retravision will again be getting behind every Wildcats three-pointer.

Fans can contribute at RAC Arena as well. During timeouts, Containers for Change will collect bottles and containers, with the money raised donated to Breast Cancer Care WA.

There are plenty of ways to take part in the 10th Pink Game online through the Wildcats Pink Hub.

Through Breast Friend Donations, every $10 donated earns one entry into the draw to win one of three prizes:

• First prize: A two-night premier stay at Crown Towers
• Second prize: A $1,500 IGA gift card
• Third prize: A catered four-seat corporate box at a Wildcats game of your choice

Fans can also put their knowledge of the Pink Game to the test in Pink Game Trivia for a chance to win a team-signed basketball.

To mark a decade of Pink Games, the Pink Jersey Vote invites fans to choose their favourite jersey from across the years for a chance to win a team-signed pink jersey.

The “I wear pink for…” feature gives fans a place to personalise and share who inspires them to wear pink, with the chance for their message to appear on the big screen on game night.

Be part of the action by turning RAC Arena pink

The Wildcats will take the court in their special NBL27 Pink Game uniform, and fans are encouraged to wear pink and help fill RAC Arena with colour for the milestone game.

Arrive early to see the Pink Arena, supported by CGH Group. The Best Dressed in Pink competition will also return, with a $500 Crown Perth voucher up for grabs on the night.

The official Pink Game jersey and a range of pink apparel and accessories are available now, with all proceeds going directly to Breast Cancer Care WA.
