The Perth Wildcats would like to thank guards Corey Webster and Kyle Zunic for their contributions to the club over several years.

Webster’s team option for next season won’t be picked up, with Zunic not offered a contract for NBL25 as both become free agents ahead of the NBL's Free Agency period which kicks off Monday 15 April.

The experienced Webster played 49 games in two seasons at the club, with popular guard Zunic spending three years in Perth for 40 appearances including back-to-back Coaches’ Awards.

“Corey’s leadership, veteran experience and scoring ability has been a valued asset for the team the last two seasons, and he was a true professional and leader throughout his time with the organisation,” Wildcats General Manager of Basketball Operations Danny Mills said.

“It’s an unfortunate part of the business where we have to make difficult decisions in regard to the roster and we wish Corey and his young family all the very best for what’s next in their journey.

“Kyle has been a valued member of the organisation for the last three seasons he’s been here in Perth. He’s a high character young man who was well respected and popular amongst both his teammates and the staff.

“Whilst he didn’t get to see the on-court opportunities he would have liked, his work ethic, coach ability, and leadership never wavered, and we wish him nothing but the best with his future basketball endeavours.”

Young guard Dontae Russo-Nance will remain as a Development Player for the 2024-25 season, before being elevated to the full roster in 2025-26.
