The Return of Doo and Dylan

Two key members of the Perth Wildcats’ NBL26 campaign are back in town, with imports Kristian Doolittle and Dylan Windler ready to hit the ground running ahead of the new season.
After spending the 'off-season' playing in Puerto Rico, Doolittle said the decision to return to Perth was an easy one.
“The fans, the coaching staff, and just being familiar with the city made it almost a no-brainer,” he said.
“I’ve been welcomed with open arms here. I haven’t won a championship in Perth yet and I’ve won one everywhere else I’ve played. It’s something I still want to check off my list. This is the most successful club in Australia, and I want to add to that legacy.”
For Windler, the off-season was all about rest, recovery, and family time in Tennessee, including introducing his newborn to loved ones. He also maintained a steady training schedule in preparation for NBL26.
“I’m looking forward to taking a leap this year,” Windler said.
“Coming into my second season, I’m more comfortable, not just with the NBL, but with our system here. Last year was such a great experience. I love the city, the weather, where I live, the team, the coaches, and the staff. And of course, playing in front of the Red Army is something special. I can’t wait to get back out there.”
Both players have joined their Wildcats teammates in pre-season training this week and we know the Red Army will be looking forward to seeing them back in action this season.
