The Wildcats favourite away destination?

Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney is one of the Perth Wildcats favourite places to play.
That’s good news, because the Wildcats head there for the first time since the 2020 Grand Final on Sunday, with New South Wales removing crowd capacity limits.
Trevor Gleeson is expecting a warm welcome from Kings fans.
“Hopefully a nice one, that would be really good! We play great on their court, I don’t know why. As soon as Bryce got here that was his first game, I think he dropped 30 something in his first game, and we just love playing on that court.”
The last time they were there was their stunning Grad Final Game Three win, which ended up deciding the series as the country went into COVID-19 lockdown.
“Any away game you play you’re going into a hostile environment,” said wing Clint Steindl.
“They have a lot of supporters, and no doubt it will be a tough one, but we’ll be ready for it. We’ll be focused on us, we’re playing some really good basketball right now and we’ll try continue that without worrying about rivalries from past seasons.”
The Wildcats have won six-straight while Sydney have won four of their last five.
The two sides have met once this season on neutral territory, with the Wildcats coming out 1130-106 winners at the NBL Cup in Melbourne.
John Mooney, Bryce Cotton and Sydney’s Casper Ware all hit 30 points in that one.
Tip-off on Sunday is at 12pm WA time. Watch live on VICELAND or SBS On Demand.
