Jesse Wagstaff has been selected in the 3x3 Gangurrus squad set to represent Australia at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, which will take place in Glasgow from 24–29 July.
The 3x3 Gangurrus as well as Wombats wheelchair 3x3 teams will battle against Commonwealth nations in Scotland featuring stars of the format.
Wagstaff said representing Australia again at a Commonwealth Games remained one of the most significant honours in his career.
“Every time you get the chance to pull on the green and gold at a Commonwealth Games, it means something very special,” Wagstaff said.
He will team up with Gangurrus men regulars Jonah Antonio, Jarred Bairstow and Sam McDaniel.
Adam Forde is locked in as head coach to drive the men’s program to Commonwealth Games success.
