Webster: Wildcats motivated to bounce back against Kings

The Wildcats will be looking to turn around last month's result against the Kings, when they went down by one point in a heartbreaking home loss.
“I think guys are motivated. It lit a fire under us to see that we’re not playing to our full potential. We haven’t put a full 40 minutes together yet," Webster told the media on Wednesday.
“You’ve just got to be excited about that. We still haven’t reached where we want to be at. We’ve got a lot of work to do but it’s exciting to be able to do that.
"Guys can’t just fly under the radar thinking mistakes are going unnoticed. You’ve got to take accountability if you want to be a championship team.”
Webster impressed in just his second game back against New Zealand in Auckland on Saturday, amassing a team-high 20 points to go with six rebounds and six assists to step up in superstar Bryce Cotton's absence.
The energetic New Zealander felt there were plenty of options to fill Cotton's starting spot should the four-time NBL MVP be ruled out with a rib injury.
"Ben Henshall has stepped up at times and he (head coach John Rillie) has put Elijah Pepper in there and as well as he's showed some really good signs,"
"Michael Harris is in the mix as well so John has got some options."
Friday night's clash, the Wildcats' first at home since October 4, tips off at 6.30pm.
