The collaboration highlights a shared dedication to community connection, fan experience, and the growth of basketball across the state.
As a Gold Status Partner, Alinta Energy will feature prominently at RAC Arena, helping deliver the unmatched Red Army atmosphere that makes Wildcats game nights among the best in Australian sport.
Perth Wildcats General Manager of Basketball Operations Danny Mills said the ongoing partnership reflects both organisations’ commitment to excellence and community.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Alinta Energy and proud to carry that connection into another season. Alinta’s commitment to basketball in this state helps us deliver for our fans on game night and ensures the Red Army experience continues to be one of the best in Australian sport.”
Alinta Energy will also extend its support to the Perth Lynx, powering a landmark season as the team moves home games to a larger venue at Perth HPC. Through initiatives such as providing 70 tickets per game for fans, community clubs, and grassroots groups, Alinta continues to champion inclusion and accessibility in WA basketball.
Perth Lynx General Manager Chris Earl echoed the sentiment.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Alinta Energy, whose support has been instrumental in helping us grow the game and connect with our community. Their commitment to both the Lynx and Wildcats shows a genuine passion for WA basketball, and we’re excited to deliver another electrifying season together.”
Alinta Energy’s Executive Director of Retail Markets Chris Campbell said supporting the Wildcats and Lynx aligns perfectly with the company’s local roots.
“We’re continually inspired by the passion of the fans, who bring the energy to every game, all season long – and we’re ready to cheer on both teams through another season. Alinta Energy has been part of WA for 30 years, and this collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to the local community.”
The Perth Wildcats and Alinta Energy look forward to another season of partnership, powering unforgettable moments for the Red Army and the broader WA basketball community.
