Jacob Chance is departing the Perth Wildcats to pursue new coaching opportunities.

Chance joined the Wildcats as a video intern in 2015 and become the club’s video coordinator and development coach in 2016, before being promoted to assistant coach in 2019.

Under head coach Trevor Gleeson, he helped Perth to championships in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020.

The Perth Wildcats would like to thank Jacob for his hard work and dedication over six seasons, and wish him the very best for the future.

Current video coordinator and development coach Luke Brennan has been promoted to assistant coach for the upcoming 2021/22 NBL Season, while the club would like to welcome Keegan Crawford as its new video coordinator and development coach.

Crawford joins the Wildcats from the Perth Lynx, where he was the team’s lead assistant coach under Ryan Petrik.

Previously, he was head coach of the Rockingham Flames WSBL side, where he led the side to the 2019 WSBL Championship.

He’s also coached numerous state teams at the Australian National Championships, including head coach of the Under-18 WA Metro Women this year, and assistant coach of the Gold Medal-winning Under-18 WA Metro Men in 2018.

Crawford has assisted Trevor Gleeson’s Wildcats coaching staff as a video intern since 2019.
