Wildcats off-season: Henshall and Harris 30-balls

Ben Henshall and Michael Harris add some more 30-balls to their off-season resume, while David Okwera stuffed the stat sheet in the NBL1 West. 

Ben Henshall and the Otago Nuggets got their second win on the trot, with Henshall netting his third 30-point game of the season. 

He tied his 31-point career-high scoring total for a third time this season, as well as recording eight rebounds and five assists. 

 

 

In the same game young Wildcats big Jack Andrew had one of his best games of the season, grabbing seven rebounds, while scoring 16 points at an impressive 72.7% from the field. 

Dontae Russo-Nance who rounds out the Wildcats trio in Otago finished with 11-points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal. 

Russo-Nance is averaging 2.0 steals per game, placing him at fourth in the league in that statistic. 

Over In Western Australia, David Okwera and Michael Harris both performed strongly for their sides in the NBL1 West. 

David Okwera played a double-header for the East Perth Eagles, walking away with two wins from the two games.

 

 

His best game came against the Mandurah Magic on Saturday, where he finished with a 22-point, 14-rebound double-double. 

Michael Harris and the Warwick Senators weren’t able to get the W, despite a 30-point, three rebound and five assist effort from the guard.
