Okwera Pulls on the Green & Gold, Doolittle Finishes with a Triple-Double.

It was another strong week for Perth Wildcats players, with international representation, standout performances across Australia and New Zealand, and a triple-double to cap off a season in Puerto Rico.

David Okwera traded his East Perth Eagles jersey for the Green and Gold, earning a call-up to the Australian Boomers squad as an injury replacement for the two FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in Perth.

Making the most of his opportunities, Okwera finished with five points and a rebound against Guam, before adding three points and a rebound against the Philippines in his second appearance.

Cameron Huefner continued his outstanding NBL1 West campaign as the Perry Lakes Hawks travelled to Albany for First Nations Round to take on the Perth Redbacks.

Despite the loss, Huefner was dominant with 33 points, 15 rebounds and an assist, adding yet another double-double to his impressive season.

Back for his second week after injury, Tom Gerovich continued to work his way into form for the Willetton Tigers.

He led all scorers with 17 points to go with eight rebounds and two assists in a thrilling win over the Joondalup Wolves, before backing it up with 10 points, four rebounds and an assist against the Geraldton Buccaneers.

New Wildcats signing Alex Higgins-Titsha was once again a force for the Bankstown Bruins, finishing with 24 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and three steals to help guide his side to victory.

In Puerto Rico, Kristian Doolittle ended his season in style, recording a 15-point, 10-rebound, 11-assist triple-double as Osos de Manatí cruised to a 38-point win over the Carolina Gigantes.
After missing two games through injury, Elijah Pepper returned in emphatic fashion for the Wellington Saints.

Pepper filled the stat sheet with 28 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals, before sealing the game with the match-winning steal in the closing moments against the Otago Nuggets.
