Wildcats' opponents revealed in NBL1 West clashes

The Wildcats kick off their pre-season with a pair of games against the best of the NBL1 West on Friday night (at Morley Rec Centre) and Sunday (at Lakeside).
Former Cairns Taipans development player and current Wildcats train-on player Josh Davey, who plies his trade for Lakeside, is one to watch.
Ex-Adelaide 36er Caleb Davis, now at Joondalup, is another player with NBL experience.
Rockingham championship player Travis Durnin has been included, as has his grand final opponent and former teammate Marshall Nelson who's coming off a massive debut campaign at Willetton.
Johny Narkle, who won the grand final MVP award in 2023 for Geraldton before getting a train-on role with Melbourne United, is in the squad.
The Wildcats will have two debutants in Next Star Izan Almansa and former US college sharpshooter Elijah Pepper.
The Friday night game in Morley is sold out, but there's still limited tickets available for the Lakeside clash on Sunday.
The Wildcats Academy will feature in the curtain-raiser on Friday from 5pm, with the main event kicking off at 7pm.
Sunday's match is a stand-alone, starting at 5pm.
