The Perth Wildcats will be bolstered by the return of key guards Mitch Norton and Michael Frazier II for Thursday night’s crucial matchup against the Adelaide 36ers.
Both players have been sidelined for several weeks with hamstring injuries.
Their return represents just the third time this season that all 11 fully contracted Wildcats will be available.
It won both games when all 11 were fit.
“We haven’t had everybody at all,” said Vic Law.
“Maybe the Illawarra series but other than that we’ve always been in and out. Something has always been happening. It’s Murphy’s Law – what can go wrong kind of has. But we’re still in a position. We are still right here.
“It’s funny, we can still finish, if we win out, at 19-9. That’s a really good record. A lot of teams apparently want to get a little bit over .500 and that can put you in the race.
“If we just handle business and do what we’re supposed to do, we’ll finish 19-9 and that put us exactly where you want to be.”
Mitch Norton’s season has been disrupted by multiple injuries, but over the 14 games he has played he is averaging career-high figures in both scoring and assists.
Frazier’s has played 15 times and brings another scoring and perimeter defence element to the fourth-placed Wildcats.
“Hopefully he’s just playing free and super aggressive,” Law said.
“I think the last couple of games, teams have been trying to sell out on me and Bryce which shouldn’t really be a thing. I think we have a lot of good players and creators and scorers. Having a full team and having Frazier back will be really good.
“I think Frazier brings us a whole new dynamic to the offence and to the defence with his toughness. I’m excited to see what it looks like.”
Tip-off on Thursday night is at 7.30pm.
Tickets available here or watch on ESPN via Kayo or Foxtel.
