With the league pausing for the November FIBA window, attention turns to the international stage and the Perth Wildcats will be well represented when the Boomers step onto the floor against New Zealand.
John Rillie is with the Boomers squad this week as the coaching staff prepares the national team for the two-game World Cup Qualifier series against a Tall Blacks outfit built around New Zealand’s next wave of talent.
On the playing side, Elijah Pepper has linked up with the group featuring familiar names including former Wildcats Nick Kay and Keanu Pinder.
Game 1 is in Hobart on Friday 28 November - tip off: 4:30pm AWST.
Game 2 will be played in Wellington on Monday 1 December - tip off: 2:00pm AWST
Both clashes are airing live on ESPN.
Once the FIBA break concludes, the focus shifts immediately back to the Hungry Jack's NBL26 season, where the Perth Wildcats will host Melbourne United on Thursday 4 December in a pivotal Round 11 encounter.
