Perth Wildcats CEO Troy Georgiu released the following statement:
The Perth Wildcats welcome Premier Mark McGowan’s announcement today regarding the easing of hard border restrictions for vaccinated travellers.
It’s exciting news for our team and the Red Army, as it will allow us to fulfill our quota of playing 14 home games at RAC Arena, with no capacity restrictions.
I’m also pleased that mask wearing will not be enforced, meaning our fans can fully engage and contribute to the atmosphere of a Perth Wildcats game night.
While the players and coaches will face the challenge of being away from home for an extended period of time following Christmas, the club is excited about returning to a certain level of normality and a strong run of home games in the second half of the season.
The Perth Wildcats play its final two home games before February this Friday and Sunday at RAC Arena. Tickets available here!
